Upgrade

The ARCA Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) Solution contains pre-built objects (including Spaces, Datasets, Functions, Workflows and Dashboards) used to process your credit data.

Updating to a New Version

Please refer to the release notes to learn more about the latest updates.

Update to Latest ACRA Files

1. Update Aperture Data Studio by downloading the latest version files from our Experian Data Quality Community.
2. Contact regional support for access to the latest ARCA custom step extension files:
   1. ARCA Report Parser
      • ARCAReportParser-x.x.x.jar
   2. ARCA Response Parser
      • ARCAResponseParser-x.x.x.jar
   3. ARCA Step
      • ARCAStep-x.x.x.jar
   4. Aperture Data Studio metadata exchange package with Workflow file
      • "Data Studio Export - Experian DQ for CCR - Core - dd mmm yyyy hh-mm-ss-sss.dmxd"
   5. Aperture Data Studio metadata exchange package with Workflow file
      • "Data Studio Export - Experian DQ for CCR - Templates - dd mmm yyyy hh-mm-ss-sss.dmxd"
   6. Aperture Data Studio metadata exchange package with Workflow file
      • "Data Studio Export - Experian DQ for CCR – Report Templates - dd mmm yyyy hh-mm-ss-sss.dmxd"
3. Turn off the Aperture Data Studio Database Server service.
4. Save the ARCA custom steps extension files into the /ApertureDataStudio/addons/ directory within the Aperture Data Studio server.
5. Turn on the Aperture Data Studio Database Server service.

Synchronize Spaces using New ACRA Files

1. Login as an administrator.
2. Navigate to System > Spaces
3. Start with "Experian DQ for CCR – Core" Space, click the Options icon to the right, then click Synchronize.
4. Load the "Data Studio Export - Experian DQ for CCR - Core - dd mmm yyyy hh-mm-ss-sss.dmxd" file
5. Click Next > Synchronize
6. Repeat Step 8 to 10 with:
   • Experian DQ for CCR - Templates to load: "Data Studio Export - Experian DQ for CCR - Templates - dd mmm yyyy hh-mm-ss-sss.dmxd"

Update Submission Export Workflows to Use New Schema

1. Navigate to "Experian DQ for CCR – Core" Space > Datasets
2. Click the actions icon to the right of the "Accounts - v4.0 ARCA Credit Data Reporting" view
3. Click Sharing Options
4. Enable shared with all Spaces
5. Navigate to Workflows
6. Click the actions icon to the right of the "Experian - Export CCR v4.0 (Custom Step)" workflow
7. Click Sharing Options
8. Enable shared with all Spaces
9. Check ARCA Step settings to see if any configuration needs to be copied from version 3.0 to version 4.0. This is dependent on how the customer has configured the settings.
10. Navigate to Space where XML generating workflows are stored
11. Import the "Accounts - v4.0 ARCA Credit Data Reporting" view into the Space using the Include from another Space button
12. Import the "Experian - Export CCR v4.0 (Custom Step)" workflow into the Space using the Include from another Space button
13. Modify XML generating workflows to map to target steps to use this new view and embedded workflow
14. Publish the workflow
15. Apply steps 11-13 to other workflows that generate XML’s.
