Prerequisites

Experian software

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • installed and configured your Experian Pro Web or Pro On Demand
  • access to an activated Experian-hosted Address Validation account (via the Customer SaaS Portal)

To gain access to our online-hosted datasets, the authentication tokens you will have been given upon purchasing your
Pro solution must be activated. For instructions on how to do this, please refer to this guide.

Touch points

The integration uses an SAP business add-on (BAdI) to trigger verification within the SAP Business Address Service (BAS) areas. These include:

  • Business Partners
  • Contacts
  • Individual and Corporate Accounts

If you require integrations outside of the BAS areas, please speak with your Experian Professional Services Consultant.

Access required

For a successful implementation, the below access & authorizations will be required during the project. Please provide the following access or make the relevant resources available to your Experian Professional Services Consultant.

Access Level Access Requirements
SAP Developer
  • Developer credentials for SAP login ─ to customize the Experian configuration and to make any ad-hoc code changes
  • Access to the CRM Web Client with the desired business roles
SAP BASIS
  • Permission to move and import transport files
  • Permission to create and test an RFC connection
  • Service user for the Experian Connector (part of your Experian solution package)
Server Administrator
  • Full access to install Experian Pro Web onto server
  • access to the Experian SAP .NET Connector
