The Data Studio license enables a set of functionality in the application. The license is made up of multiple licensed features, allowing you to choose exactly what functionality to enable.
Only users with the "Manage Product License" capability in their role can view and update the license.

You will be asked to provide the generated token that identifies the order details specific to your Data Studio deployment. Your token can be retrieved from our Self Service Portal. Enter the token at the Update License prompt.
If you have agreed an update to your license such as extending the dates, adding new users or functionality, these should be applied automatically. However, you can check/force an update by clicking Refresh license information on the About Aperture Data Studio screen.
Retrieve your latest token from our Self Service Portal and enter it at the Update License prompt.
The audit code encodes Data Studio's current license including any additional features. You may be asked to provide this to Experian to ensure the application is correctly licensed.

Rows per table is the maximum number of rows that a single Dataset can have. For a multi batch Dataset, the total number of rows is the sum of all rows in all batches. This limit applies to all Datasets, including Snapshots.
Number of data sources is the number of Datasets that can be loaded into Data Studio. Data loaded from files, database tables, or created in a Workflow (as a Snapshot) all count as Datasets. The limit applies to the sum total of all Datasets in all Spaces and Environments within your deployment.
The user license limits apply to enabled users. If a user is disabled, their Space, permissions, and settings are retained but they are not able to log in and no longer count towards the license limit. You may create as many users as you wish and enable/disable them selectively as required.
Data Consumer users is the number of Consumer users that can be enabled at any point in time with a role that has no defined capabilities. Consumer users typically interact with reports generated by Data Studio Workflows.
Administrator / Designer users is the number of users that can be enabled at any point in time with a role that at a minimum includes the 'Access Designer interface' capability. Any user managing data, creating Workflows, or carrying out user administration will be an Administrator / Designer user.
Non native add-on steps indicates whether Workflow steps and parsers built using the Data Studio SDK, also known as custom steps and custom parsers, can be used in the deployment.
Where custom steps or parsers are included as part of a Data Studio deployment, the About Aperture Data Studio page will also list the name, version, developer and the assigned license type.
